CLTRG in the Community

When not on the track, the Charlotte Roller Girls are doing their part to keep Charlotte a fun, safe, healthy, and prosperous place to call home. We’re not just athletes – we’re your neighbors! Whether it’s working at a blood drive, helping homeless pets, joining the fight against hunger, or cheering on runners during the ThunderRoad Marathon, CLTRG is here to help. The Charlotte Roller Girls are dedicated to the local community through volunteerism, donations, and partnerships with local charitable organizations. We work with a number of charities year-round and a portion of the proceeds from all of our home bouts goes to support local causes.

RAIN

RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) engages the community to transform lives and promote respect and dignity for all people touched by HIV through compassionate care, education and leadership development. RAIN is widely recognized for its unique model and expertise in working with persons living with HIV/AIDS. Since 1992 they have provided more than 150,000 hours of service to over 1,100 persons with HIV and AIDS and their loved ones, trained over 5,000 volunteers, and provided HIV/AIDS prevention education and awareness programs to more than 50,000 people. The Charlotte Roller Girls are looking forward to working with RAIN again this year to further their supportive and compassionate cause.
